Meet Anabel Oosterlinck, our new Childcare Assistant! Anabel begins serving with us this Sunday, July 7! Her primary responsibility will be in our church nursery each Sunday from 9:15-12:15 but if no nursery age children are present, she will also be able to support our dedicated volunteers who teach and work with our elementary age children. Anabel has 10 years of experience working professionally and informal in the nurture and education of children of all ages. She, is certified in CPR and First Aid and is up to date on all immunizations. Take the opportunity to live the good news of Christ by greeting Anabel during Sunday School (begins at 9:45am) or worship (begins at 11:00am). Make sure also to let others know the good news of this wonderful addition to our church staff and community!
Last Sunday’s blue grass service was wonderful. A big thanks goes out to Parks and Harry for leading the musical part of the service!
We have many exciting and fun things planned this Sunday so don't miss out! - The men will have the first of our summer Hol”e”y Moments at 9am in the library... coffee, doughnuts, and devotion lead by Rev. Acton. - At 11am we will have our Blue Grass Sunday! This special service is one that many churches, even Presbyterians!, have done in recent years! Music for the morning will feature a blend of hymns, gospel music, and plenty of “pickin’ and grinin’”. - Immediately after worship all are invited to the Fellowship Hall for a “Leap of Faith” Potluck Luncheon. We will celebrate the one-year anniversary of our shared ministry with Rev. Ben Acton and his family, giving thanks for the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the “leap of faith” we all took. We hope to see you all for our fun filled Sunday!
